Design Process
Research
We went through all our direct and indirect competitor websites observing what they are doing and what we can do that would make us stand out in the crowd.Then, we brainstormed and created a basic wire-frame on white board to finalize the placement of the existing and the new modules. (Since we were redesigning the website, fresh wire-frames were not needed.)
Design Inspiration
We took inspiration from the border less (rim less) design for our product cards. We also introduced the portrait style show posters instead of the horizontal ones to adjust more shows on the homepage. We also introduced a horizontal scroll bar that enabled us to show more shows.
Design Changes
Old design shows two Best Seller and two Popular Shows on the Homepage. With the new design we wanted to show more shows, so used tile format similar to a move ticket booking website to fit more shows in the first fold and have rest within the horizontal scroll on the Homepage.


Added user reviews fetched through the third party review site Feefo to create a trustful environment among the seller and the customer.

Added a blog widget on the website that will display the top articles written by our experts about the Theatre breaks educating and helping out the customers.

Final Look

Result
The site appeared on the feature snippet of Google’s search engine. Moreover, the number of bookings and visitors on the website increased month on month by 1%.
